Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag has slammed his players after they lost 1-0 to Atletico Madrid in a pre-season friendly on Saturday.
Joao Felix scored the only goal of the encounter with a few minutes left on the clock.
It was the first defeat for Ten Hag as United boss and he expressed his unhappiness with his side’s lack of efficiency in front of goal.
“In the end, it’s about the result, and the score was not good.
“You have to take benefits if you create chances.
“I think we created many chances, to produce at least one goal and from the few chances they created, they scored one — that point, I am not satisfied. I have told the team it is not acceptable, you have to be sharp in the box, both sides,” Ten Hag told Manchester United club media.
