Erling Haaland etched his name in Manchester City’s history books with a five-goal haul in their 6-2 FA Cup victory over Luton Town.

The Norwegian striker’s feat marks the first time a City player has scored five goals in an FA Cup match since 1926.

Haaland’s extraordinary performance was complemented by Kevin De Bruyne, who provided four assists in the game.

The duo’s partnership was evident from the start, with Haaland scoring his first goal within three minutes after a well-placed pass from De Bruyne.

Despite Luton’s efforts to respond, Haaland continued to shine, capitalizing on De Bruyne’s assists to secure his hat-trick and then add two more goals to his tally.

De Bruyne’s contributions were crucial, as he consistently set up Haaland with scoring opportunities.

While Luton managed to pull two goals back, including a stunning strike from Clark, City’s dominance was evident throughout the game.

The only bad pill for City was an injury to Jack Grealish, who looked visibly helpless as he was substituted in the first half.

City’s focus now shifts to a challenging run of Premier League fixtures, including a crucial match against Manchester United this weekend.
