Nigerian singer Ayra Starr, born Sarah Aderibigbe, has shared insights into her spirituality and personal beliefs.
Speaking during a recent livestream with TikToker Jarvis, the music star revealed that her spiritual aspiration is to be as perfect as Jesus, describing her approach to faith as more spiritual than strictly religious.
She noted that while she may not fully align with organized religion, her connection to spirituality remains important to her.
“I am trying to be as perfect as Jesus. I have a close relationship with God and the Holy Spirit and it doesn’t come with me only being in church. God says let it be unto you according to your faith. I have found a way that works for me,” she said.
Ayra Starr explained that her current outlook works for her at this stage in her life, though she remains open to change in the future.
Beyond her spiritual reflections, the singer also disclosed that she is expanding her career into the film industry.
She revealed that she began acting last year and is set to release her debut movie later this year, marking a new chapter in her creative journey.
