A man has shared a dramatic testimony after he confronted armed robbers who allegedly attacked him shortly after leaving a bank in Minna.
The man, who spoke during a service at the church of Johnson Suleman, said the incident happened on Friday when he was robbed of ₦9 million.
According to him, he began praying intensely despite observing a fast that day. He claimed he suddenly found the courage to grab one of the attackers’ guns and started shooting back at them, even though he had never handled a firearm before.
The man further said that the robbers also fired shots at him but the bullets did not penetrate his body. He added that he stood in front of the vehicle the robbers were using and declared that it would not move.
He stated that when the attackers attempted to start the car, it refused to move, which he described as a divine intervention.

“Immediately I left the bank, årmed røbbers att@cked me and collected my ₦9 million. I started praying in tongues even though I was fasting that day. God then gave me the grace to grab one of their gûns and started shøøting back at them. They were shøøting at me too, but the bullets did not penetrate me. I had never shot before. I don’t have anything training. I was speaking in tongues and went in front of the car and shot at the driver and said this car will not move. Unless I am not serving the God of my father. Unfortunately they started the car and the car refused to move”
